    I test my teams by grinding on trainers in game for hours after catching them yes. Also though to ease any confusion, my family doesn't have enough money for me to go to events, so I've never been in any championships or anything like that.
    I spend hours upon hours grinding, breeding and catching after I spend hundreds of hours perfecting a team.
    I have 200-300+ hours in X&Y and 800 in Pokemon online.
    I have beat every game a minimum of 4 times each.
    Just throwing some statistics out there.
