The Nested Add-ons

If you know how to bring up the javascript console, and know other stuff, you can add your own things to Nested. However, this isn't always reliable, but it's the best we have until Nested 2!
//How to add a new Thing :
// new Thing(name,contains,name generator);
// -name is the referral name for this Thing. Unless a name generator is specified, this name will be the default name for any instances of this Thing.
// -contains is an array of Things that an instance of this Thing contains, specified by their name.
// -For example, ["banana"] means this Thing contains exactly 1 instance of a banana. ["banana","orange"] means it contains 1 banana and 1 orange.
// -["banana","strawberry,25%"] means it will contain 1 banana, and has a 25% probability of also containing a strawberry.
// -["banana,2-7"] means it will contain between 2 and 7 bananas.
// -[".banana"] will not include a banana in the Thing; instead, the Thing will contain whatever the banana normally contains.
// -["banana",["sugar","honey"]] will include a banana, and either sugar or honey. Unfortunately, this does not work with the format ".sugar" or ".honey".
// -name generator is optional; if specified, the instance of the Thing will be named according to this.
// It can be either an array containing other arrays (the name will be patched up from an element of each array) or an identifier for the Name function, like *BOOK*.
// A name generator of [["blue ","red "],["frog","toad"]] will produce names such as "blue frog" or "red toad".
If you want your thing to actually appear, then go to the source code, find the thing (after all the JavaScript, of course) that you want your added item to appear in, copy it, go to the JavaScript console on Nested, paste it into the console, and add your item to what that thing contains, then hit enter.

Quite complicated, isn't it?

Now post the stuff you've added here!

    I'm too lazy to do this right now, but I would probably add Cookie Clicker to the computers.

    Oh, yes. that would be way too awesome.

    Cookie clicker in nested:

    new Thing("cookie clicker",["cookie","cursors,40%","grandmas,40%","farms,40%","factorys,40%","mines,40%","shipments,40%","alchemy labs,40%","portals,40%","time machines,40%","antimatter condensers,40%","prisms,40%"]);
    new Thing("cookie",["cookie dough","chocolate"]);
    new Thing("cursors",["computer mouse"]);
    new Thing("grandma",["person"]);
    new Thing("farms",["farm"]);
    new Thing("factories",["worker"]);
    new Thing("mines",["miner,2-5","stone","iron,50%","copper,50%"]);
    new Thing("miner",["person"]);
    new Thing("shipments",["metal","cosmonaut,1-3"]);
    new Thing("cosmonaut",["space suit","person"]);
    new Thing("space suit",["metal"]);
    new Thing("alchemy labs",["gold"]);
    new Thing("time machines",["history"]);
    new Thing("history",["person"],["old famous person",[["someone from the year "],["1000","500","34","-356"]],"a really old person","your grandma's grandma"]);
    new Thing("antimatter condensers",["anti atom"]);
    new Thing("anti atom",["antiverse"]);
    new Thing("antiverse",["universe"]);
    new Thing("prisms",["light"]);
    new Thing("light",["atom"]);
    new Thing("cookie dough",["sugar"]);
    new Thing("chocolate",["milk"]);
    new Thing("website",["cookie clicker"],"cookie clicker");
    new Thing("website",[["cookie clicker","forum post,1-10","disturbing computer image,1-10","cute computer image,1-10","stupid computer image,1-10","website,1-10"],"website,1-3"],[["www."],
    ["one","4","9","on","live","wiki","re","net","home","neat","fat","free","cool","not","something","everything","dat","my","you","that","this","face","tv","sick","cute","creepy","me","hurr","crap","web","bizz","wrong"],
    ["chon","speak","news","chat","gog","ddit","bad","nasty","forum","gross","pal","friends","world","rama","search","stick","retarded","tard","ville","town","cat","cats","durr","tube","space","book","music","directory"],
    [".com",".com",".com",".net",".org"]]);

    If you're too lazy to find a website you can just use this:

    new Thing("galaxy",["galaxy center","galaxy arm,2-6","website"]);

    Enjoy!

    How do you add it? I don't understand what "add your item to what that thing contains" means.

    How do you add it? I don't understand what "add your item to what that thing contains" means.

    You edit an object that you found in the source code to add your custom object. It's technical stuff.

    If you use Firefox, use CTRL + SHIFT + K to open the console. Tnen, enter the code that iAMmincho posted (The first one) into the bar and enter, then go find "cookieclicker" nested under something!

    Let's give it a try, shall we?
    new Thing("galaxy",["Cookie Clicker"])
    new Thing("Cookie Clicker",["Big cookie"])
    new Thing("Big cookie",["cookie,3-5","Big cookie"])
    new Thing("cookie",["cursor,20%"])
    new Thing("cursor",[["cookie,3-5","grandma,5%"]])
    new Thing("grandma",[["cookies","cookie,8-16"]])
    new Thing("cookies",[["cursor","farm,2%"],["grandma,20%","cookie,8-16]],[["8","9","10","11","12","13","14","15","16",],[" cookies"]])
    new Thing("farm",[["cookies,4-6","factory,5%"]])
    new Thing("factory",[],["WINNER! (For now, at least)"])

    Hmmm, so will it work now?
    EDIT: Made it easier.

    Let's give it a try, shall we?
    new Thing("galaxy",["Cookie Clicker"])
    new Thing("Cookie Clicker",["Big cookie"])
    new Thing("Big cookie",["cookie,x3-5","Big cookie"])
    new Thing("cookie",["cursor,10%"])
    new Thing("cursor",[["cookie,x3-5","grandma,2%"]])
    new Thing("grandma",[["cookies","cookie,x8-16"]])
    new Thing("cookies,[["cursor","farm,2%"],"grandma,10%"],[["8","9","10","11","12","13","14","15","16",],"cookies"])
    new Thing("farm",[["cookies,x4-6","factory,2%"]])
    new Thing("factory",[],["WINNER! (For now, at least)"])

    EDIT: Wait, what's wrong with my code?

    You forgot a ' " ':

    change

    new Thing("cookies,[["cursor","farm,2%"]],[["8","9","10","11","12","13","14","15","16",],["cookies"]])

    into

    new Thing("cookies",[["cursor","farm,2%"]],[["8","9","10","11","12","13","14","15","16",],["cookies"]])

    also delete the 'x' before number-number
    example:
    x3-5

    should be
    3-5

    It works for me, you just need to make the odds way higher.
  • iAMminchoiAMmincho Posts: 3,874Member, Flagger ✭✭✭
    I found another bug, you need to change ,"cookies" to ,[" cookies"]

    Does it work if you use this:
    new Thing("galaxy",["Cookie Clicker"])
    new Thing("Cookie Clicker",["Big cookie"])
    new Thing("Big cookie",["cookie,3-5","Big cookie"])
    new Thing("cookie",["cursor,90%"])
    new Thing("cursor",[["cookie,3-5","grandma,90%"]])
    new Thing("grandma",[["cookies","cookie,8-16"]])
    new Thing("cookies",[["cursor","farm,90%"],"grandma,90%"],[["8","9","10","11","12","13","14","15","16",],[" cookies"]])
    new Thing("farm",[["cookies,4-6","factory,90%"]])
    new Thing("factory",[],["WINNER! (For now, at least)"])

    I just changed a few little things and made the odds way higher, it works for me if I use that.

    I just learn some coding, and check out what I made.
    new Thing("Nested",["universe"])
    WOAH
    Now how do I put it in a website?
