    where did you put that in the stylesheet or the normal pastebin? It looks like everytime you change something it only affects your buildings and not upgrades your stylesheet might be missing the upgardes maybe???

    @lLonewolf2121 I put it in the very bottom of my style sheet, where should i put it?
    will u take a look?
    below is it

    Edit: Can the upgrades have that color when u dont own it? also, can we have the buildings a color like that too, but not the currency?

    @EricBolton1993 They can i'm just so unfamiliar with the newest version of this it's hard to say how all the CSS works it's all about nesting the code in a way where it only affects the desired aspect of your game but looking at the stylesheet it's hard to tell where certain things start and end. And the CSS for the rounded edges and white background apparetnly goes right under settings in the normal pastebin not the stylesheet oops

    @lLonewolf2121 i put it in its own pastebin, then i put it under settings? Do i have to put CSS: or Backround: before the pastebin url?

    @EricBolton1993 no it doesn't need it's own pastebin CSS goes in it's own section below settings in your original pastebin

    Edit: all you need to do is put something like

    Settings
    building cost increase:
    building cost refund:
    background:
    stylesheet:

    CSS
    .thing
    {
    border-radius:8px;
    background:rgba(255,255,255,0.5);
    }

    @EricBolton1993 in your stylesheet underneath #bulkdisplay it looks like your .thing try and use something like this it might fix the issue

    #bulkDisplay
    {
    margin:-20px 24px 6px 24px;
    border:none;
    background:transparent;
    }

    .thing
    {
    display:inline-block;
    padding:0px;
    cursor:pointer;
    }
    .thing:active
    {
    opacity:0.5;
    }
    .upgrade.owned,.achiev.owned
    {
    box-shadow:0px 0px 0px 2px rgba(0,0,0,0.5) inset;
    }
    .thing.cantAfford
    {
    opacity:0.65;
    }
    .upgrade.cantAfford
    {
    border:none;
    }

    .thing-costs{font-weight:bold;text-shadow:1px 1px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.5);}
    .cost.hasEnough{color:#0f0;}
    .cost.notEnough{color:#f00;}

    @lLonewolf2121 do I copy everything, even the #bulkDisplay and paste it in settings like how u have it? also, it should make not owning an upgrade look different?

    edit i put the stuff under

    background:transparent;
    }

    with a space?

    @EricBolton1993 I would just look over your current pastebin and edit in certain things you might not have like the

    .thing-costs{font-weight:bold;text-shadow:1px 1px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.5);}
    .cost.hasEnough{color:#0f0;}
    .cost.notEnough{color:#f00;}

    and anything that has to do with colors this line of code seems to just do what bunny clicker does and brighten up icons that are owned and ones that arent are dimmer but i'm kinda guessing a little lol

    Edit: this part should be in your stylesheet btw
  • EricBolton1993EricBolton1993 Member Posts: 413 ✭✭✭
    @lLonewolf2121 should i copy this,

    #bulkDisplay
    {
    margin:-20px 24px 6px 24px;
    border:none;
    background:transparent;
    }

    .thing
    {
    display:inline-block;
    padding:0px;
    cursor:pointer;
    }
    .thing:active
    {
    opacity:0.5;
    }
    .upgrade.owned,.achiev.owned
    {
    box-shadow:0px 0px 0px 2px rgba(0,0,0,0.5) inset;
    }
    .thing.cantAfford
    {
    opacity:0.65;
    }
    .upgrade.cantAfford
    {
    border:none;
    }

    .thing-costs{font-weight:bold;text-shadow:1px 1px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.5);}
    .cost.hasEnough{color:#0f0;}
    .cost.notEnough{color:#f00;}

    and replace it in the style sheet, and for the ones that arnt owned, make it a dim color like light gray and the ones i do own a bright color?

    when i cant afford it, it gets really dark, the upgrade
  • lLonewolf2121lLonewolf2121 Member Posts: 56 ✭✭
    I would just copy and paste that into a backup stylesheet and mess around with it on a version of the game that isn't live and if this standard copy and paste looks good to you then you could paste it into your main one

  • lLonewolf2121lLonewolf2121 Member Posts: 56 ✭✭
    @EricBolton1993 np man hopefully I take some time to make a game and learn this stuff better to help out more and i'm looking foward to more content the game is fun only thing I would recommend is trying to make the art into a spritesheet which would make adding more content easier for you.
  • EricBolton1993EricBolton1993 Member Posts: 413 ✭✭✭
    @lLonewolf2121 i use paint on windows 10 and i draw each image and upload it to a site where i copy and paste the image, i dont know how to do the spritesheet lol

    adding content is easy and fast as i have 4-5 games worth of already made images and makign more only takes 30-90 minutes to make a new one, which isn't bad :)

    I look forward to ur games in the future and thank you, ur gonna love the next few updates, and i update fast when im not feeling lazy watching netflix all day :D
  • lLonewolf2121lLonewolf2121 Member Posts: 56 ✭✭
    @EricBolton1993 tbh idk how to use spritesheets either LOL but I wanna learn and ty man hopefuilly I can think of a good game idea
  • EricBolton1993EricBolton1993 Member Posts: 413 ✭✭✭
    @lLonewolf2121 I know u can think of a good game and ur welcome :) Maybe after u learn, could u teach me how to do a prestige ;)

    Also, after my Internet stops acting up, I hope that new styles css stuff works and u can tell from owned to not owned :)

    @lLonewolf2121 I tried both ways just now with the CSS, putting this in the settings,

    CSS
    .thing
    {
    border-radius:8px;
    background:rgba(255,255,255,0.5);
    }

    and pasting this in a pastebin

    #bulkDisplay
    {
    margin:-20px 24px 6px 24px;
    border:none;
    background:transparent;
    }

    .thing
    {
    display:inline-block;
    padding:0px;
    cursor:pointer;
    }
    .thing:active
    {
    opacity:0.5;
    }
    .upgrade.owned,.achiev.owned
    {
    box-shadow:0px 0px 0px 2px rgba(0,0,0,0.5) inset;
    }
    .thing.cantAfford
    {
    opacity:0.65;
    }
    .upgrade.cantAfford
    {
    border:none;
    }

    .thing-costs{font-weight:bold;text-shadow:1px 1px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.5);}
    .cost.hasEnough{color:#0f0;}
    .cost.notEnough{color:#f00;}

    and both didnt work

  • EricBolton1993EricBolton1993 Member Posts: 413 ✭✭✭
    @lLonewolf2121 u mean in the style sheet settings or in my pastebin? and what do u mean under not in?

    @EricBolton1993

    CSS has its own section in the pastebin
  • EricBolton1993EricBolton1993 Member Posts: 413 ✭✭✭
    @lLonewolf2121 I put it under not in

    When I refresh the game, heres what i get

  • lLonewolf2121lLonewolf2121 Member Posts: 56 ✭✭
    @EricBolton1993 as far as i'm aware the upgrade problem you're running into is somewhere in the stylesheet I just don't know where I used the stylesheet that orteil used in bunny clicker just to check but I have no idea where in the default stylesheet
  • EricBolton1993EricBolton1993 Member Posts: 413 ✭✭✭
    @lLonewolf2121 okay and maybe in the future we will find it and soon later today or tomorrow, ill start working on the new update :) Thank you for all ur help :)
