How can i do "every 10 of X, gain 1 Y"?

I'm trying to set up a game where every 10 of the main, clickable resource you gather gets you 1 of another resource. I can sorta do that by having the button yield 1 of the normal resource and 0.1 of the other - but that falls apart if I want to do any kind of upgrade. Is there a better way of doing this?

    What exactly do you mean by "falls apart"?

    Because if I increase the yield of the first resource, I'm getting more of it per-click but still only getting 0.1/click of the other.

    Why don't you increase the yield of them both?
