Button Pressing!

MrMonkey7thMrMonkey7th Member Posts: 1,127 ✭✭✭
This is a game where you get to press buttons and flick levers and stuff on a really big machine. Sometimes when you press a button or pull a lever or turn a knob or whatever then new buttons or knobs or levers or stuff will be able to be pressed or turned or pushed or pulled. Items are labeled like so:

Button: [Color], [Design]
Lever: [Color], [Options (On/Off or Fast/Slow)], [Selected option]
Knob: [Color], [Options (1/2/3/4 or Low/Mid/High)], [Selected option]

As the game progresses it will undoubtably get more complex, but you guys already know the basic premise of the game, so get going! It will take less than a minute of your time, and greatly contribute to the social atmosphere of DashNet!

Button: Red, Black skull
Button: Green, Blank
Button: Purple, Silver droplet

Oh, boy, a forum game version of Please Don't Touch Anything.

First: Just a normal PC game version.
    Second: VR version.
    Third: Forum game version.

It took one step forward, and then ten steps back.

    Anyway . . .

Push the green button. Because I'm basic.

You push the button, and a "ca-ching!" sound is heard. 3 blue buttons are revealed under sliding panels. They are each labeled with a number: one, three and four.

You push the silver droplet button which opens a small display screen below the blue buttons. It says "Reversed".

    Button: Red, Black skull
    Button: Green, Blank
    Button: Purple, Silver droplet
    Button: Blue, 1
    Button: Blue, 3

You push them, a satisfied sigh is heard, and a non-descript lever replaces the Blue buttons. Its options are "Safety mode" or "Normal mode". It is currently in Normal mode. An orange button with a sci-fi looking pistol on it also appears.

You press the Green on again, and a very low pitched humming sound starts to be made. There is no black button that can be pressed.

As you press the Red and Purple buttons, a keyboard pos up underneath the display screen, though currently it has a locked cover over it. Also, a klaxon starts blaring in the distance.

    Button: Purple, Silver droplet
Lever: Grey, Safety mode/Normal mode, Normal mode
    Display1: Sigh...

The Klaxon gets much louder after pressing the red button

After the orange button is pressed, it disappears along with the purple one, and the cover from the keyboard unlocks, and the display changes to: "Cheers, love! The cavalry's here! _ _ _ _ _ _"

    @¤RunninginReverse¤ WRENCH
    @Lava_Entity ALARM CLOCK (8:45 pm)

You type tracer, and tracer like giggle is emitted. The first display changes, a knob appears, a lever appears, you gain a WRENCH, and there are now 2 displays. Your WRENCH can be used on some things to provide extra actions for that item.

You press the red button again, the klaxon is now extremely loud, you get an ALARM CLOCK set to 8:45 pm, a slot appears, about the shape of your clock, the red button disappears, and 2 lights can also be found.

    Button: Green, Blank
Lever: Grey, Safety mode/Normal mode, Normal mode

I somehow doubt we're restricted to this 1 room. So, I walk outside and grab the nearest small bird.

Hmm... Originally I thought I would just keep it contained to this room, but that does make sense. Still one problem though: birds aren't exactly easy to catch. Could you describe how you plan to catch it?

You kick the machine, once, twice, three times, but the ringing sound from the third kick sounds different. You look down, and notice a small metal plate, bolted on, that you hadn't seen before.

You do that, but it does nothing.
