Basically, the title. I haven't 100% carved out the world we'll be in, but I have time for lore-building during the game, K?
We're all living in Dashnet City. 20XX. The forum game business, mostly run by Brainstorm Incorporated, is perhaps the most successful and profitable business in the city - partially due to how little the city has in it for entertainment otherwise. A new cinema is opening today, though, so that's nice.YOU ͢AL͜L ͟KNOW ̷I'M̨ HE͡RE͠,͡ ̡DO̡Ǹ'T ͜YǪU?
But all is not right here. Secrets are behind every corner. The mysterious disappearances of multiple well-known members of the community have remained unsolved, and the activity of the city itself has gradually died down. This whole city could very well come crashing down, if we don't protect it.
You don't know much about what's going on. All you know is, something weird as fuck is happening - something you discover during the grand opening of the cinema. And you - we - are going to put a stop to it.

Character insights.#01 - ShadowofReverse
You might remember me having a dream
about a shadow RiR. That's where the idea started - the idea of me having my own "dark side," a side that I hid. However, in it's original form, it was very, very different. I had the idea of him being a manipulator. Someone who would pretend to he's your friend, but really, you're a mere stepping stone on the path to his own glory. He'd pull the strings, without ever making it apparent that he's not a good guy. The ideas behind "Shadow RiR" 1.0 put away eventually, with me getting an entirely different idea of who they were, and after creating this RP I decided to put them into a different character.
The change was rapid and dramatic. Shadow RiR - or, as he was called now, ShadowofReverse - became . . . alarmingly close to Chara. He was a glitch in the system, not meant to exist, but he did anyway. He'd kill whoever got in his way gleefully and for no other reason but because he could. I'd represent the order, and he, the chaos. His appearance had to change as well - he became a glitched, distorted version of me, placed in near-monochrome, like you see in his profile picture. But that felt too . . . bland. So I changed him again.
The final form of ShadowofReverse kept his glitchy, broken aesthetic, but became someone who liked playing games with his victims - a twisted form of myself enjoying forum games/video games. If you survive one of his games, you could just earn his respect; if so, he won't want to kill you so easily. He doesn't, however, respect me in any way. He sees me as a weakling, not embracing who I really am - supposedly, he is what I should be, but I am what I've become. He still loves bloodshed and death, though he prefers to play with his victims first. This is what he's become now.
The File Corruption he suffers from is something that just popped into my head one day as a weakness because he was getting kinda OP; when he suffers from one of his "glitch surges," he's essentially out of commission for 5-10 minutes. Enough time to get away, or even to finish him off if you're willing. Not to mention the incredible pain he suffers from when a "glitch surge" hits. It also might generate a level of remorse for him(no matter how low that level actually is), which will tie into future events.
