Research tree

As said in the title, having technologies in a tree/graph, to see clearly which technology depends on, would be very useful.

Of course, on first run, the graph/tree would appear along as you get those technologies.
Maybe after ascending, the graph/tree of all the previously discovered technologies could appear outlined, to help choosing where you spend insight points.

    This is actually already implemented, but it's only currently accessible by using the console or debug mode.

    Put this into the javascript console in your browser to see it:
    G.setSetting('tieredDisplay',true);

    I bet there is someone smarter than me able to make a mod that adds a button to the game interface that enables this...

    I have done just that, among other things, with the modpack I just posted over in the discussion forum. :)
