An option to stop replacing buildings

cakeTraycakeTray Posts: 67Member ✭✭
When I discover a new house type, it would be nice if I could just let the old ones stick around until they decay, rather than have to destroy perfectly good houses to keep them from building new ones.

I like that mines and quarries are automatically replaced now, but I preferred it when buildings weren't. It also makes architect less useful.

Oh yes, cannot agree more. Of course, knowing nothing about coding, it is easy for me to suggest an "obsolete" button. Maybe? :-)

I think this could probably be part of the job of the architect, building new houses and also ensuring that old ones are upgraded when they decay.
