This is just the root of so much trouble it would bring many peace including me , I dont want to be hated on because what I do is abstract or not sympathetic . Neither should anyone , this is a rash idea , but I am sane and know that this would fix the growing problem that has already started to harbor deep hatred for post farming , and unique opinions . If anyone gives an agree I am happy , disagree and I will feign ignorance as none of you have any power over me. Never stop the battle , im sure not planning on stopping .

Why , how is it bad ? These things have nearly made me quit before , and I am sure I am not the only one . Its a blunt opinion signified by a variable how unnerving is that!

No the mods need to always be on , at least 1 thats ready to take action at any moment.

Yes that's just awful. Full-time volunteer work when people could be doing other full-time volunteer work like hosting breast cancer awareness rallies or joining the peace core.

No like assigned times , mods are there to moderate , not to sit by idly.

Yes thats exactly like a job without pay. Moderators are supposed to moderate in times of need. If its not utmost importance like porn or gore, then the people can just flag it so the moderation can deal with it later.

It is not like the world depends on your agree/disagree balance, or how many awesome's you have got. Anyway looking at your stats, you have got 1,5k awesome votes... so erm compared to your negative stats you should have no problems. Maybe you are asking this because your spam count is on the high side? well, spam less and don't let it bother you that much.

Flagging has its actual use, spam and worse gets hidden after a few flags. I do however agree with you that the moderating on this forum is below standard, but that is not a flaw of this system.

    Quality over quantity.
The forum isn't an idle game.

I believe that the reaction buttons are there for a reason, to keep the quality of the posts at a higher standard, to remove negative reactions is unnecessary. Just don't make low quality posts and constantly spam and it won't be a problem.

First of all, sorry, that's just not going to happen.

Second of all, if it DOES happen, it should happen more like this way:
Only remove the disagree reaction and limit the "off-topic" reaction to moderators, adminstrators, or people with a specific level (6?), and leave the "flag" as it is, but give punishments to those who flag for a non-deservable reason.

Just because this forum has a section for Idle games, doesn't mean the points system is an idle game.

Also, yes, totally remove the way to report users breaking rules. That's a good idea.

I agree with that, however, some people believe it goes that way because this forum is by a developer who "invented" idle games in a way. (Not me, nope.)

Removing all negative reactions is, overall, one of the worst ideas. You just seem like you're upset that you can't post farm without getting spam flagged, and want to force the admins to protect you.

Keep in mind, flags are the only easy way of reporting someone for breaking rules.

You can also contact a mod/admin to look into something. False flagging for example can only be reported this way since you can't flag a false flag.

I understand the need for flagging for moderation reasons , I just dont understand why people falsely flag me all the time...

  • erdbeereerdbeere Posts: 3,361Member, Helpful ✭✭✭✭✭
If they false flag you, contact a mod and if they still do it, maybe they will get a little ban to make them reconsider their behaviour.
